This whole project started with an investigation into the crash of Vickers Mk 1c Wellington bomber and, in the early days, I was given a very poor quality photocopy of a sketch of this incident drawn by a young boy who witnessed the crash. Because of its condition, I was unable to post it here.
Now, thanks to the magic of computers and digital technology, it has been enhanced and is reproduced here. It was drawn by Tom Lamb at the time of the crash and is remarkably good for a young boy. He went on to become a notable artist locally.
